An internship at Freshfields means that you work independently and take on responsibilities!

Our Human Resources department gives you the opportunity of completing a six-month full-time internship. You will support the team in the organization and implementation of various specialist topics, and will gain a good insight into the area of Human Resources by participating in daily business life.

How to become a part of the team?
What requirements do I need to apply to Freshfields?

For an internship
You are at least in the 4th term of your Economics, or Psychology studies or another relevant subject. You have experience with MS Office-Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. You also have very good skills in both written and spoken German. Ideally, you should already have gained some practical experience (for example, internships or a working student job)

For a position as student assistant
You are at least in the 2nd term of your studies. You have experience with MS Office-Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. You also have very good skills in both written and spoken German. You have an affinity for the subject matter of the particular department chosen.

It is better to compile all your certificates into a single file.

What are the next steps after my application?

After receiving all applications, we will make a pre-selection based on our selection criteria. If you are shortlisted, the first step will be to invite you to take part in a telephone interview. If this interview is successful, you will be asked to attend a personal interview.

If your application is successful you will receive an invitation for a personal interview with us. Be well prepared! What do you already know about Freshfields and the position you have applied for?
Convince us that you, and only you, are the right candidate for a position at Freshfields.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions!
Remember to give yourself plenty of time to get to our offices, arrive on time and try to relax for your agreed appointment with us.
But, most importantly, don’t be nervous! Just be yourself during the interview.
