People & Reward (f/m/x)

To support our People & Reward team in Vienna we are looking for committed and highly qualified associates (m/f/x) with a special interest in employment law.

Your Tasks

In our practice group People & Reward we advise Austrian as well as international companies from various sectors on Austrian and European labour law, in particular with the following focus:

  • Solving employment law issues in the context of national and international corporate acquisitions and restructurings; related support and coordination of the employee-related parts of the project
  • Strategic advice and structuring of our clients’ operational labour relations (for example, works councils, working time issues, compliance systems, employee data protection)
  • Contractual matters – drafting and negotiating of employment contracts (in particular for management board members and managing directors), drafting of works council agreements and template contracts; contract terminations and related required agreements
  • Whistleblowing & internal investigations
  • Compensation topics – in particular employee incentive schemes, stock and option plans and other types of variable compensation
  • Company pension law – advice on company pension schemes and restructuring steps
  • Representation of our clients in labour law disputes before courts and authorities

In the future, you will work closely in a team on these focus areas, regularly also with colleagues from other offices and other areas of law on cross-border issues in several jurisdictions.

Your Profile

You have completed your legal studies with above-average results, have excellent German and English language skills and an entrepreneurial thinking, are enthusiastic about complex legal problems and economic contexts, appreciate legal creativity? Experience abroad and previous knowledge in this area, e.g. through an LL.M., a dissertation or internships are also welcome.

Note according to §9 GlBG: No collective bargaining agreement or legal minimum salary applies. The intended minimum basis for the salary arrangement (with the possibility of an overpayment) is an annual salary (gross, all-in, 14 instalments) in the amount of 54,000 EUR.
