Business Development Expert (f/m/x)

Your Tasks

In this exciting role you will manage the business development activities of the Austrian practice in close collaboration with our Vienna-based partners. We are a very international team and you will be collaborating with colleagues in numerous countries to help market our distinctive services to clients in the Austrian context.

  • First point of contact for the Vienna partners and associates with relation to all Marketing and Business Development (MBD) activities
  • Supporting global campaigns, initiatives and comparable marketing efforts from an Austrian perspective and adapting materials to the specific needs of the Austrian market
  • Closely interacting and collaborating with the Continental Europe MBD team and global colleagues to ensure that BD activities and best practices are leveraged for the Austrian market
  • Assisting in the development, planning and implementation of client events and seminars
  • Regularly monitoring press and other external sources and feeding intelligence on opportunities in the market to relevant lawyers
  • Undertaking research and analysis on clients, targets, markets, competitors, etc.

Your Profile

  • A degree preferably with a focus on economics, law or marketing
  • 2+ years in a similar role within a professional services environment and an understanding of the legal landscape and trends will be an advantage
  • Eager to work as part of a global team
  • Excellent English and German skills at least on business fluent level are essential
  • Strongly positive, pro-active and pragmatic mentality and the ability to deliver high-quality results in a dynamic work environment
  • High level of social competence and service orientation
  • Agile project management experience will be an additional advantage

Depending on the specific qualifications and professional experience, a gross annual salary of at least € 48,000 is envisaged for this role. The final salary will be agreed upon at offer stage.
