Arbitration (f/m/x)

We are looking for committed and highly qualified associates (f/m/x) with a special interest in arbitration to support our team in Vienna.

Your Tasks

Your future job with us will include a diverse range of tasks in advising and representing international clients in relation to arbitration disputes.  This includes:

  • Conducting in-depth factual research (through document review, personal interviews, etc) across a wide variety of industries
  • Conducting legal research on points of national and international law
  • Drafting memoranda and analyses of disputed issues for internal and client consideration
  • Drafting legal briefs for submission to arbitral tribunals; and
  • Engaging in proactive business development and market profiling activities.

Your Profile

You must have completed your legal studies with exceptional results, be able to communicate, read and draft fluently in English, be comfortable working with colleagues from different backgrounds, be a self-motivated entrepreneurial thinker and value legal creativity. Additional assets – but not requirements – include (i) German language fluency; (ii) previous exposure to arbitration (including, for example, participation at the Vis Moot or the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition); (iii) previous experience working or interning in a law firm; and (iv) academic or work experience abroad, particularly in an English-speaking country.

Note: according to §9 GlBG: There is no collective agreement or legal minimum salary. The intended minimum basis for the salary arrangement (with the possibility of additional payment) is an annual salary (gross, all-in, 14 instalments) in the amount of 54,000 EUR.
